Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at abriana@woodswellnesscounseling.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  • During your initial 60-minute telehealth evaluation session, you can expect a friendly and open conversation where we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll learn about your goals, challenges, and background, while I also share my approach as a clinician to ensure we’re a good fit. Building rapport is an important part of this session, so we’ll focus on creating a comfortable space for you to share and ask any questions. By the end, we’ll have a clear plan for how to move forward and work together toward your goals.

  • Counseling sessions typically begin with a 60-minute initial session, allowing time for a comprehensive evaluation and to establish a foundation for our work together.
  • Ongoing sessions are usually 50 minutes in length, providing enough time to dive deeper into your concerns, work through challenges, and focus on your progress. The structure and duration of these sessions are designed to create a consistent and supportive space for you to work toward your goals at a comfortable pace.

Yes. I am in-network with several insurance companies and offer private pay options. Please see Fee/Insurance Tab for in-network providers.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have
insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items
and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
